Electric Substation Safety's Museum is up and running

Many thanks to all who donated every thing from wooden live line to tools to the old glass housed relays. Our museum has some the oldest early tools and equipment in our industry.

Live Line Tools

Fuse Pullers, Universal Poles, Glass Housed Relays

Early High Voltage Testers

Wood Housed High Voltage Testers called Glow Testers were some of the more sophistcated methods alonng with buzz testing that is still being done out in the field.

This is one of my favorite museum pieces

This is a 1957 First Aid Training Flip Chart.

Glass Housed Relays dating back to 1914
Cluster Grounds

This old set of cluster grounds were found broken in a underground vault in San Francisco. They appear to be one of the oldest set of grounds we have.

First Aid - Wooden Splints

These wooden splints were part of the first aid responce for one of the oldest substations at a local utility
